Midway’s Web Site Earns Honors--Again For the fourth time in as many years, Midway Properties has received an “Editor’s Choice” award for outstanding
achievement in web site production.
On October 8, Gary Sherman, president of Z-Law Software, Inc. and publisher of The Complete Real Estate Software Catalog, presented the award to Jason
Taylor, webmaster and co-designer of the web site www.midwayproperties.com.
Tommy Hudson, owner of Midway Properties, said, “Jason certainly
deserves this long overdue credit. He is, in my opinion, one of the best computer engineers in the country. I believe these awards will confirm that statement.
The award is given
in recognition of the site’s “exemplary contribution to the real estate industy.” Less than 5 percent of all sites reviewed are selected to receive this award. It is based on site design, content, relevance,
and overall contribution to the field.
In 1997 the site was recognized as the best site on the web produced by a Wise County business, as presented by the publisher of wisecounty.com (a
public service web site produced by the District Attorney).
Also in 1997, Tommy Hudson was presented with the REALS Award for outstanding web site content.
In 1998 Midway Properties was awarded its third and most prestigious award from the Real Estate Library - an entity of the National Association of REALTORS - in recognition for “the outstanding web site content and
design produced for consumer access of real estate information.”
